N2 - Dermatological therapy depends significantly upon the use of topical glucocorticoids (TG). While effective, and often remarkably so, their delivery into the skin is sometimes rather inefficient. The factors which determine drug efficacy, and the various methodologies, by which the rate and extent of TG transport to their sites of action may be assessed, are the foci of this review.
