Abstract
Education, including instruction for students with disabilities, involves assessment. This article starts with a quick review of historical concerns and methods for evaluating students with learning disabilities (LD). Then, more thorough and effective assessment strategies are presented. The most commonly used assessment tools and main purposes for assessing students with LD are discussed. Finally, it is discussed that how assessment for students with LD will be conducted in the future.
