Abstract
A strong anisotropic magnetoresistance has been measured in a single crystal of UFe4Al8 and has been used to prove the ferromagnetic order of the U lattice. The giant anomaly detected in the magnetoresistance curves is interpreted as two 90° rotations of the magnetization. This interpretation has been confirmed by magnetization measurements.
