Achieving low loss and low nonlinearity in hollow core photonic crystal fibers

Abstract

Loss and nonlinearity in hollow core photonic crystal fibers are shown to be simultaneously reduced by the incorporation of anti-resonant features within the boundary region between the core and the cladding.
