Abstract

The purpose of this Departmental Research Data Management Plan is to support principal investigators, project, data and research managers and researchers and others, such as service providers, in performing data management at the project level. It does this in three ways. First, it specifies how projects should use data management plans: where they should be stored, how open they should be, expectations for review and revision, and so on. Second, it provides a template for project data management plans. Third, it recommends tools that can be used for data management, and additional guidance that may be consulted.
