Abstract
The lead(I) dimer [Pb( t BuAm Dipp)] 2 ([ t BuAm Dipp] – = [tBuC{NDipp} 2] –, Dipp = 2, 6-iPr 2C 6H 3) was formed as a side product during the reaction of the aluminyl anion [K{Al(NON)}] 2 ([NON] 2 – = [O{SiMe 2NDipp} 2] 2 –) and the plumbylene [Pb( t BuAm Dipp)Cl] 2. Herein, we report the solid-state and electronic structure of this hitherto unknown Pb(I) complex.
