Abstract

In this work, based on the basic principle of converter droop characteristics, the intersection of the internal characteristics of the converter droop control and the external characteristics derived from the DC distribution network parameters were pointed out as the actual operation point. The quantitative relationship between the droop characteristic parameter and the converter function was discussed, and the overall droop characteristics of multi-converter node was analyzed as well, including multi-source, multi-load and mixed source and load. Droop control characteristic secondary adjustment method was presented. Considering the impact of power flow controller, the power flow algorithm of DC distribution network was deduced including the droop control, secondary adjustment and parameter variation (the third adjustment). The numerical results show that the proposed regulation method is capable of optimizing the operation conditions of DC distribution network, and more suitable for the flexible adjustment of DC distribution network than other control methods.
