Young Peoples' understandings of mental health concepts and school strategies

This Dean's Innovation Funded study (UoB) explores young peoples' understandings of mental health in schools targeted as 'hubs' for addressing mental health problems. This involves collecting and hosting young peoples' photographed images of mental health (problems) and mental health concepts, in exploring their literacy and understandings of mental (ill)health. Images will be hosted on a social media platform and will inform guided discussion into the meaning of mental health within single sex focus groups conducted with young people in school.
