Description

This is a four-year international research project led by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU, Spain) with collaborators from several countries, including the University of Bath. It explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) affects English-Medium Instruction (EMI) in higher education. The project aims to understand how AI tools can support teaching and learning in English, improve digital competence, and influence motivation and well-being among teachers and students. Using a mixed-methods approach, it will provide evidence and guidance for integrating AI effectively and ethically in EMI classrooms.
