This pilot study builds on an existing working relationship between Loudmouth (an innovative theatre-in-education company) and Juliane Kloess (JK) from April 2017. Loudmouth attends secondary schools in the Birmingham area to deliver an intervention programme (Working for Marcus) that aims to increase awareness around (online) child sexual exploitation in young people. Publications by JK and CHG, plus their input and insight regarding aspects of offenders’ modus operandi, behaviour and motivation have informed the storyline of the production performed within schools and the material used as part of the small-group discussions. The current pilot study is to evaluate the Working for Marcus storyline.
