The effect of viewing marked tests on subsequent academic performance: an experimental study: first stage

A large proportion of students to not retrieve their marked exam scripts when they already know their marks. This project will investigate the effect that retrieving scripts on the academic performance of students who would not have collected their scripts. A randomly selected group of students (the treatment group) will be nudge toward retrieving their marked scripts. The setting will be the first year Economics Department unit ES10091 Introduction to Probability and Statistics. Up to three cohorts of students will take in this first stage of the project.
