Project Details

Description

This project follows on from our project entitled 'Enhancing Researcher Wellbeing by Acknowledging and Reducing the Potential for Secondary Trauma in the Research Process'. Our specific objectives are as follows:
• To explore further key issues arising in relation to characterising research-related distress and the potential implications for support, through data-reanalysis and researcher consultation.
• Draft a journal article on what researchers currently do to cope with their research, and what interventions they want to improve their wellbeing.
• Develop and deliver researcher wellbeing awareness training, and gain preliminary feedback.
• To liaise with senior management for the provision of services and support.
• To disseminate findings from the 'Enhancing Researcher Wellbeing' project within UoB, nationally and internationally.
