Description
The Bath Policing Academic Centre of Excellence (Bath P-ACE) is one of nine national Centres of Excellence co‑funded by the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
The P‑ACE network aims to strengthen collaboration between policing and academia and to develop evidence‑based approaches that address key operational priorities.
Reflecting national policing needs and our research expertise (across departments), Bath P‑ACE will focus on the following areas:
Enduring challenges – including building public trust and responding to climate change
Crime prevention
Personal safety
Surveillance and sensing
Analytics
