Project Details
Description
The OcEn project will assess the world's state of readiness for the ocean renewable energy revolution. Supported by funding from the University of Plymouth's International Collaboration Investment Fund, this project will examine the benefits and opportunities associated with future deployments of offshore wind, wave and tidal power. It will also explore the challenges in making them a reality, and any impacts the global growth of the sector might have on livelihoods, cultural sites, and the marine environment more widely.
