The 2017 OECD The Pursuit of Gender Equality attests to slow progress in the reduction of gender inequalities. Inequalities in the workplace are among the most persistent social inequalities despite gender equality policies over the last decades. The question arises to investigate whether, how, and under what conditions policy matters in promoting gender equality in the workplace. This research focuses on men’s perception of gender equality and on the promotion of women’s integration into traditionally men-oriented sectors.
