Project Details
Description
This project is funded through ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) grant. It is built on our prior research on social protection and healthcare access in Ghana funded by UKRI International Science and Partnership Fund.
This project aims to deliver research impact through dissemination and relationship-building with relevant policymakers and non-academic stakeholders in Ghana. The objectives will be achieved through two key activities: (i) a knowledge exchange and policy dialogue on 'Social Protection and Child Healthcare Access in Lagging Areas' and (ii) visits to local government institutions and non-academic stakeholders in Ghana to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration.
2. Project aims
The main goal for this project is to disseminate our research on LEAP’s impact on children healthcare and building relationship with key government and non-academic stakeholders. Through this project, we aim to deliver a few objectives below:
- Research dissemination & knowledge sharing with multidisciplinary researchers: Present findings from our ISPF project and share insights on enhancing the impact of policy-relevant research, incorporating reflections from the activities outcomes of this proposal.
- Organizing policy dialogues: Facilitate discussion with governments officials and local stakeholders on social protection and children’s healthcare access in the Oti and Greater Accra regions, building on insights from our prior research.
- Building network and relationship with key government and non-academic stakeholders through knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and visits to local stakeholders
