Innovation Bridge Beacon

Creating an inclusive and sustainable future poses complex challenges that require not only novel insights but also robust processes and transdisciplinary engagement. Given the complexity of innovation processes and the multiplicity of challenges in delivering social and economic impact, a systematic multidisciplinary approach is most suitable to foster such change. We propose the Innovation Bridge Beacon as a platform for cross-faculty engagement aimed at integrating the first-class research and network capabilities existing within the University of Bath (UoB) around the key themes of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I). By orchestrating knowledge related to multiple dimensions of
innovation - e.g., technical, managerial, societal, ethical and regulatory aspects - we will support interdisciplinary research projects and the creation of novel solutions for shared prosperity. Building upon the expertise within the Centre for Research on Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CREI), the Innovation Bridge Beacon will connect researchers across disciplines, as well as with local communities and entrepreneurs.
