Project Details
Description
This project aimed to bring the OpenFlexure Microscope closer to being marketed as a medical device. This still has the potential to become the first digital diagnostic, and the first microscope, to be manufactured in Tanzania. Project activities included training for Btech and IHI staff on medical device quality procedures, improving the documentation of the microscope to allow better manufacturing, and developing quality control and self-test procedures.
