This project aimed at promoting and developing scientific exchange between the University of Bath and the University of Massachusetts – Amherst (UMASS) in the area of innovative analysis of human movement and motor control.The bilateral visits from and to UMASS have promoted: knowledge/expertise transfer; dissemination and public engagement; exchange of people (e.g. UG and PG students); the development of research proposals and the progress of existing research in the biomechanics and motor control area (e.g. assessment of coordination and coordination variability in injury prevention and rehabilitation); dissemination and outreach.
