Food Insecurity Policy Toolkits

Project: Research council

Project Details

Description

Co-prouce and test policy toolkits

Layman's description

Our research on food insecurity (FI) in B&NES highlights the importance of transport and localised support. Engaging policy makers on this issue can be difficult where it is not central to their experience or remit. We will develop bespoke toolkits to help transport and community level policy makers engage with experiences of FI and identify where they can take-action. These will be tested through four workshops bringing relevant agencies and stakeholders together. We will work with B&NES Council (health and transport teams) and B&NES Affordable Food Network (AFN) to co-produce and test the toolkit.
