Description
The project is a "scientific network" funded by the German research council DFG. It is jointly organised by nine scientists at the research locations Bath, Berlin, Bochum, Münster and Osnabrück. It provides funding for five workshops with external guests over the next three years. Main topic of the workshops are finding news applications of the classical method of cumulants to prove concentration inequalities or moderate deviations, but also to explore the very young research topic of superconcentration.
