Description
This research study aims to clarify the design factor provisions included within the new Eurocode 12 on Design of Tensioned Membrane Structures (prEN19102, in development). It will identify the background to the current provision, and assess the potential impact of the factors on embodied carbon reduction to determine whether added design complexity translates to improved sustainability outcomes.
