This research project focuses on consumers who knowingly purchase counterfeit goods. It investigates their perceptions regarding the businesses that engage in the practice , how they perceive the ethicality of buying fakes, and identifies common personality traits held by them. With this knowledge, better educational programmes and deterrents can be developed.
