Layman's description
This research project aims to address gender equality in Turkey, a pressing issue worsened by the government's support of a conservative, Islamic stance that undermines women's rights. Gender equality is not only a matter of social justice but also a critical factor in poverty reduction. Empowering women economically and socially can lead to increased household incomes, improved educational outcomes, and enhanced overall well-being, contributing significantly to poverty alleviation.
