Description
This proposal builds directly on the research undertaken jointly by Communomics CIC and the University of Bath in Phase 1. That work produced a central and important finding: many communities that policy describes as ‘financially excluded’ are not excluded at all in the way the term implies. They are actively participating in well-established, trusted systems of saving and lending, most notably Rotating Savings and Credit Associations (ROSCAs).
