The academic community of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid acknowledges the unique merits and values of the doctoral theses of institution with the Outstanding Thesis Award. This award is a recognition of the quality of doctoral research work based on their scientific and technological contributions. According to the volume of work of each Ph.D. program, the award is granted on an annual or bi-annual basis. Ph.D. graduates with a cum laude distinction in the previous academic year are eligible for this award.
