My 1998 paper "A fully abstract game semantics of general references" (with Samson Abramsky and Kohei Honda) has been awarded the 2018 LICS Test of Time award. This award is given each year to between 0 and 3 papers presented at the IEEE/ACM Symposium on Logic in Computer Science of 20 years previously.
