Ms
I am a PhD researcher in the CDT in Cybersecurity, focusing on decision-making processes and investment strategies within organisations. My work explores how technical, organisational, and human factors influence cybersecurity practices and outcomes. I use both qualitative and quantitative approaches to examine the development and use of cybersecurity models, the roles of key stakeholders such as consultants and decision-makers, and the broader social and economic contexts affecting security investments. Drawing on interdisciplinary frameworks from STS, management, and social science, my research aims to help bridge the gap between theory and practice in cybersecurity, providing insights that inform both academic understanding and real-world organisational strategies.
In addition to my doctoral research, I am involved in multiple projects with CyBOK, conducting comparative analyses to explore its various applications and contributing to research on cybersecurity education policy. I am also currently working on a paper with REPHRAIN, investigating the adoption and usability of privacy labels to empower individuals in managing their digital privacy. Previously, I contributed to a CREST project, supporting experimental research and participant engagement.
My research is driven by a commitment to advancing effective, evidence-based cybersecurity practices through interdisciplinary collaboration and practical impact.
