Yidi’s research interests:
Her PhD research explores the determinants and consequences of risk management under imperfect markets. It aims to provide an evidence base for investors, creditors and regulators in emerging markets to promote the liberalisation of the financial markets and further develop the flexibility of the exchange rate regimes.
Currently, she works as a Tutor for Pathway to Bath Programme teaching Economics for to year-12 high school students, mainly focusing on Microeconomics. She has been a Graduate Teaching Assistant since the first year of PhD studies at the Department of Economics, University of Bath. She has taught various courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
