Research interests

Research Interests

I design, fabricate and study Photonic Crystal Fibres (PCFs). These optical fibres contain a microstructure on the scale of the wavelength of light which allows unprecedented control of the propagation of light in the fibre. My particular interests are in using PCFs for new lasers and light sources, with applications from fundamental metrology and quantum information to imaging for medical and life sciences. Willing to supervise PhD

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
