I have diverse research interests in the general areas of robotics, autonomous systems and machine learning, with particular interest in:
- Tactile and vision perception for autonomous robotics
- Learning and sensorimotor control in autonomous robotics
- Multimodal human-robot interaction and collaboration
- Intent recognition for wearable assistive robotics
- Wearable robots for telepresence and telecontrol
Willing to supervise doctoral students
Uriel is able to supervise PhD students willing to do research on the field of robotics, touch, vision, machine learning and their intersection for application on robot perception and learning, human-robot interaction, assistive and rehabilitation robotics and telepresence.
