Personal profile
Research interests
My primary research area is corporate finance. I have a particular interest in initial public offerings (IPOs). My research examines the cyclical nature of IPO activity and the formation of hot issue markets. I have also researched on adverse selection in IPO markets, with an emphasis on the issues of signalling and winner's curse.
Some of my recent projects are within the area of behavioural economics/finance. These projects focus on how reinforcement learning and various behavioural biases (overconfidence, disposition effect, etc.) jointly influence financial decisions of individuals.
Willing to supervise PhD
I am interested in receiving PhD queries from students who possess strong quantitative skills and who are good in academic writing. I would be interested in supervising topics that are broadly aligned with my research interests.
Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
