My PhD thesis is titled "White Toyotas, White Faces": Navigating INGO Coloniality in Thailand's Deep South. This research looks to understand how radical, anti-colonial critiques of Human Rights and Humanitarian organisations materialise on the ground, and questions to what extent local communities perceive and experience this otherwise ideological debate in their daily lives. The PhD seeks to amplify the voices of those living through conflict, working in collaboration to explore the strategies and coping mechanisms required to navigate the world of "White Toyotas, White Faces".
