Research interests

Image-based rendering, e.g. novel-view synthesis, and image-based modelling, e.g. photogrammetry, 3D reconstruction. 

My vision is to casually capture the real world in order to provide immersive RealVR experiences. This technology will enable everybody to create photorealistic real environments suitable for VR just by using consumer cameras, e.g. a smartphone.
