Research interests

Taghried is a lecturer in Regenerative Design. Her interests are in materials properties, low-cost housing, the durability of natural building materials, and regenerative materials.

Taghried completed her PhD with the University of Bath in the use of agricultural waste in the construction industry, during which she developed deep knowledge about materials properties, technologies, and combined matrix behaviour.
