Research interests

Steven Wonnacott joined the Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies in January 2013.

He is a University of Bath graduate, holding a BA in Modern Languages and European Studies and an MA in Interpreting and Translating.  

He is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Studies for postgraduate programmes in interpreting and translation (MAIT, TPLS and TBI).

He convenes units in French and Italian to English translation at postgraduate level and teaches on several undergraduate language units. He is also a freelance translator, editor and proofreader.

In 2019, Steven was presented the Students' Union Personal Tutor of the Year Award in recognition of the quality of pastoral care he provides.
