Research interests

I joined the University of Bath in January 2013 as a Lecturer in Translation.

I am currently Director of Studies for postgraduate programmes in interpreting and translation. I am also Athena SWAN Champion for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, working with colleagues across the University to promote gender equality.

I am Unit Convenor for French- and Italian-English translation at postgraduate level and I teach translation as part of final-year French and Italian language units.

Alongside teaching at the University of Bath, I am a freelance translator and editor.


My research interests are:

- Applied translation studies

- Interpreting

- Language learning/teaching
