Research interests

I joined the University of Bath in January 2013 as Teaching Fellow in Translation.

I am currently Director of Studies for postgraduate programmes in interpreting and translation. I am also Athena SWAN Champion for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, working with colleagues across the University to promote gender equality.

I am Unit Convenor for French-English and Italian-English translation at postgraduate level, and for Applied Translation Studies at undergraduate level. I also teach on final-year French and Italian language units.

Alongside teaching at the University of Bath, I am a freelance translator. I work with several international agencies and also with direct clients.


My research interests are:

- Language learning/teaching
