Research interests

Our research interests are broad and encompass the application of synthetic organic chemistry in diverse contexts, such as: fluorescent probes for bioimaging, chemical sensing in marine waters, drug discovery (new therapeutics for pancreatic cancer), sustainability in synthesis (programmes in biocatalysis and new catalytic methodology), and projects with a humanitarian aspect, such as the development of water safety tests for the developing world.
