Personal profile
Research interests
Dr Hussain was awarded a PhD in Human Genetics from King’s College London before completing his postdoctoral training at the University of Cambridge. His research activity involves the development and application of next generation sequencing-based techniques to help better understand specific genetic molecular mechanisms that shape defined human phenotypic traits. Much of his current research also focuses on theoretical modelling of fundamental mechanisms underlying the general genetic architecture of complex traits.
