Sean Loh has graduated from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2020 with a BSc Chemical Engineering degree. During undergraduate years, he joined the environmental engineering lab, critically reviewing the status of e-wastes with the resource recovery from it. After that, he earned an MSc Environmental Engineering degree at University of Bath in 2021, with a masters project based on evaluating green mechanosynthesis and life cycle assessment in the synthesis of Polymer of Intrinsic Microporosity (PIM) for membrane separation. After graduation, Sean enrolled in his PhD at the University of Bath in March 2022. His research focuses on the synergy of PIM-1 and 2-dimensional materials in membrane separation. Also, Sean is interested in the involvement of circular economy within his research and willing to broaden his knowledge in materials engineering.
