Sarah Wild

Sarah has been the Director of Practice Based Learning for the University of Bath since October 2024. She oversees all learning that take place in practice as part of the MPharm degree at the Bath and Plymouth campuses.

Sarah did her degree at the University of Bath, graduating in 2014. She started her career in Community Pharmacy where she worked as a Relief Pharmacist, then Pharmacist Store Manager for Boots within the Bath and Wiltshire area. In 2017, she took up a role as the first Day Lewis Teacher Practitioner at University of Bath. In this role she designed new unit for the degree, a high-fidelity gamified simulation based on a model set up at the University of Groningen and joined the international consortium.

In 2021 she was awarded a place on the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer's Clinical Fellow Scheme and spent 12 months working at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. In this role she rewrote the Professional Standards for Hospital Pharmacy Services and project managed the development of a new e-learning series on Research for Pharmacy Professionals.

Following her fellowship, she took up a role as the Pharmacy Foundation Training Lead for NHS England. In this role she oversaw Foundation Training for the South West region including playing an instrumental role putting plans in place for the 2025/26 training year, when the first cohort of students who can register as independent prescribers undetake training.
