Research interests

My research explores the communication and practice of responsible business, particularly in digital contexts. I currently have projects underway on influencer marketing, content moderation in platform organisations and the ethics of micro-targeted advertising.

I have co-authored one of Europe's best-selling Business Ethics textbooks and my research has been published in journals including Business & Society, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management Studies, and Organization Studies, amongst others. 

I am on the Editorial Board of Business and Society, and I review for journals including Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Studies, amongst others. 

I am co-hosting the 7th International CSR Communications Conference at the University of Bath School of Management in 2024.
