Surface & Interface Science and Engineering: band-structure alignment, charge dynamics studies, reaction intermediate & mechanism studies.

Heterogeneous Catalysis and Reaction Engineering for Clean Energy and Environment: solar fuels production from water splitting, CO2 reduction, and biomass. Environmental remediation; liquid and gas phase pollutants degradation.
