Research interests

Sam is a full time PhD student, and a member of the Centre for Health, Injury & Illness in Sport (CHi2PS) and the UK Collaboration Centre on Injury and Illness Prevention in Sport (UKCCIIS) at the University of Bath. His research is primarily focused on head acceleration event exposure in elite Rugby Union training.

Other responsibilities

Sam is also a research assistant on the Professional Rugby Injury Surveillance Project (PRISP), which annually reports injury patterns and trends overtime in English Premiership clubs and England senior team. Sam also works as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University, delivering computer lab lectures in statistics, and research and study skills.
