Research interests

Robin's research investigates the construction and effects of markets conceived of as complex systems that span a variety of scales. He is particularly interested in issues of consumerism and waste; technology use and misinformation; the role of non-human animals in markets; and sensory experiences of nature and rural environments. His most recent research has been published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, and Sociology.
