Research interests
I collaborate with biological scientists and others to develop methods to analyse and model empirical data. Current collaborators include Christian Rutz (St. Andrews – social systems in tool-using crows), Darren Croft and Safi Darden (Exeter – cooperation among fish; species invasion - with Tim Rogers in Bath), Ed Feil (Bath – infection patterns from whole genome sequencing of microbes) and Michael Pocock (Centre for Ecology and Hydrology – plant-pollinator networks).
