My PhD is on 'the evolution of parental care in birds and dinosaurs', thoiugh I have a broad interest in Mesozoic archosaurs, and have previously worked at the University of Bristol on British Triassic microfossils.
My first degree was at the University of Reading, where I obtained a BSc in Zoology. This concluded in my third-year thesis, which was on the evolution of jaw mechanics and feeding apparatus in late Carboniferous/ early Permian tetrapods.
