Prior to working in Higher Education, I spent 10 years teaching a variety of subjects: music, performing arts, modern foreign language and mathematics, as well as working as a middle leader in the secondary sector. My leadership responsibilities included those related to teaching and learning, curriculum development, technology-enhanced learning and teacher development. Since completing an MA in International Educational Management in 2017, I have taught on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Bishop Grosseteste University and the University of Leeds. At Bath, my teaching is in the area of leadership and management on the MA Education programme.
My research interests mainly lie in the field of educational leadership and I am currently undertaking a Doctor of Education (EdD) at Leeds. My doctoral research focuses on the leadership of creativity in education, exploring leaders’ perception and motivation regarding leading teaching and learning creatively under the current UK context.
