Dr. Secular's research focuses on the design and implementation of parallel tensor network algorithms and their application to strongly-correlated quantum lattice models from condensed matter physics. This involves writing code suitable for use on high-performance computing (HPC) clusters (i.e. supercomputers).
Other interests include quantum foundations, quantum information, chaos theory, and physics education.
Tensor networks, quantum mechanics, special relativity, mathematical methods, computational physics, scientific computing, programming skills.
