Personal profile

Research interests

The primary aim of my doctoral research is to develop a digital "just-in-time" adaptive intervention to promote physical activity behaviour among older adults of low socioeconomic status, by delivering personalised support to users when they need it most. Through this work, I hope to provide an insight into the benefits and challenges associated with implementing tailored technology-based initiatives to support physical activity maintenance in an ageing population.

This project is supported by the ESRC South West Doctoral Training Partnership, under the supervision of Associate Professor Max Western (University of Bath), Professor Nick Townsend (University of Bristol), Associate Professor Mark Kelson (University of Exeter), and Professor Charlie Foster (University of Bristol).
