Research interests

A member of the Materials for Health Lab research group and the Centre of Sustainable and Circular Technologies (CSCT). 

PhD Research Project: Peptide Polymer Fibres: Novel structures, syntheses and applications. Utilising biomimetic and peptide design to produce resilin-like peptides that can be spun into yarns. For production of textiles with sustainable advantages, enhanced properties and possible applications in health care. 

Masters Research Project: Applying cellulose nanocrystals to textiles for structural coloration and patterning of the textiles. Aiming to bring sustainable advantages and functionality with possible applications in health care, such as wound dressings.
